June Volunteer Advocate Training

Want to learn how you can support survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault? Join our free upcoming Volunteer Advocate Trainings! The *Basics training will be held on June 2nd, 4th, 9th, and 11th from 5:30 pm-8:30 pm, and the Helpline training will be held on June 23rd, 25th, 29th, and July 2nd from 5:30 pm-8:30 pm. The location is yet to be decided.

(*Suggested for everyone, required for Helpline volunteers)

Learn about how abuse is connected to power and control, gain skills in how to respond when someone shares that they are experiencing violence, and understand how agencies and local groups work together to respond effectively to violence.
