We Serve People Who Are Experiencing Domestic or Sexual Violence

  • Free, confidential, 24-Hour Helpline ~ 406-425-2222
  • Crisis intervention
  • Emergency shelter and transport
  • SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse's Examination) Transport
  • Hospital, law enforcement, and court accompaniment and advocacy
  • Assistance in applying for orders of protection and for crime victim compensation
  • Individual support for adults
  • Individual support for children
  • Assistance with parenting plans and immigration issues related to domestic or sexual violence

We Serve Youth and Educators

Our education program, Power Up, Speak Out! provides lessons and training for middle school educators to teach healthy relationship skills and prevent bullying, harassment and violence. Written by DSVS staff in 2010, Power Up, Speak Out! provides unique lessons designed to resonate with Montana’s youth. All of our lessons and trainings are available to educators free of charge. We Serve Our Community

  • Volunteer Advocate training for domestic violence and sexual assault
  • Community education-speakers for service clubs, church clubs, youth groups and community events
  • Medical training focusing on domestic violence medical assessment for doctors, nurses and staff at more than 30 hospitals statewide
  • In-service training for law enforcement, criminal justice professionals, educators, social workers, clergy, therapists, and the business community
