Get Involved

You can make a difference in our community and in the lives of others by sharing your time and talents.

There are many ways to volunteer with DSVS:
  • Serve on our 24-hour Helpline and provide crisis support to individuals experiencing domestic and sexual violence.
  • Organize fundraisers and community awareness projects.
  • Complete mowing, gardening and maintenance jobs.
  • Staff a booth or table with information about Domestic and Sexual Violence Services.
  • Help survivors move towards self-sufficiency by working one-on-one on resume writing, budgeting, job search, etc.
There are so many ways to volunteer, and DSVS will make sure you have the training and support for your volunteer work!

Who may volunteer:

Men, women and teens may apply. You must be over 18 to volunteer in direct services. Direct services include serving on the 24-hour Helpline and working with survivors. We are also looking for adult men and women to mentor in our mentoring program through Red Lodge Schools. The purpose of our mentoring program is to connect Red Lodge youth with a caring and supportive adult mentor in order to develop youth’s talents, interests, and selfconfidence. As a mentor you will attend a once a week lunch meeting with a middle or high school youth, providing them an outlet to talk, hang out, play games, and develop skills. Please see application HERE.
